Pokemon Soul Silver Arceus

Review: Zach Hill - Face

who

What the hell is Zach Hill? Well, neither more nor less than one of the most talented drummers who have stood on the earth. Charge of percussion in Hella began to get widespread recognition in the music scene, collaborating with half the world. His playing can only be described as supernatural in every sense of the word, and who has marked an entire trend in recent years. Does not stand out precisely because it is a purely technical musician, but by the heart and guts that makes every job.

This time from Sacramento California, Zach Hill brings her new face tat released on October 19, 2010. From beginning to end material is a power trip and delirium which sometimes becomes very unpalatable to the ear. It all begins with "Memo to the man " an issue with enough groove and where it starts to flash the madness that was unleashed in upcoming issues. The next cut of the album is the first single off of material: Sacto Smile, a powerful 2 minutes does not allow you to even breathe, with members of "No Age" showing they are made, and Mr. Hill implementing a good overdrive on the drums makes this track one of the best on the disc. On songs like

Green Bricks or Burner in the video, the level of experimentation is somewhat difficult as trying to decipher that instruments concerned. Face tat, the song that names the album is like a return tacit Hella, since the subject is shaped by Zach Hill and Carson McWhirter very important members of the group. And finally it gives way Second Life, also written in conjunction with another special guest Devendra Banhart, a relatively sweet song, with an atmosphere that leads to close your eyes and surrender to the wind.

"Tat Face" is 40 minutes of pure frenzy, and although in certain passages of the disc is almost impossible to understand, when you get used to chaos becomes quite enjoyable. It is likely that after listening to want to go out to destroy things. You just do it judges.
